Eagle Wing Youth Drum Group
was created by a member of the Southern Ute Tribe. This drum group had a vote on many names, and Eagle Wing was the name that was voted most on.
Throughout the years, Native Love has been involved with traditional arts and crafts with community members and native youth of the community.
Native Love and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives Taskforce of Colorado sponsored a Training by the Four Corners K-9 Search and Rescue for the community of Ignacio and the Southern Ute Indian Reservation. For more information on their organization visit 4ck9sar.org
One day The Team listened to the youth and the next day they heard from Ute Mountain Ute Tribal elders and Community. This was a training to learn from as well as give support to STOP GUN VIOLENCE in Towaoc Colorado.
