MMIR Bike Run
Every time you make a donation for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives Bike Run, you help support awareness and a cause that brings the people together. Many times families of MMIR join us in our ride around the reservation, we stop at Navajo Lake to bring education and awareness to the people from advocates who travel from afar to support the cause. We stop and enjoy snacks and drinks from local vendors who take time out of their day to support this cause. The riders are also a big part of this fundraising which goes directly to families who are actively searching for their loved one or need funeral costs, rooms, meals, etc. Crimes of violence can take a huge toll on families, so the funds that the riders come together to help raise, goes directly into the families.
That is why it is important we take good care of our riders. We all work together to make a difference in our communities.
Data reveals a sever crisis with high rates of violence against Indigenous People. There are hundreds of thousands of unsolved cases, making murder rates 10 times higher than the national average. With your donation, we can make a difference that goes throughout the whole state of Colorado for this very important matter.

Any funds raised will go towards travel with elders, community, and youth to help donate clothing to Pine Ridge.
Donations include lightly used clothing, jackets, shoes, etc. to take to Pine Ridge to help with the students at the Pine Ridge School. There are many children who face poverty and lack of resources. In supporting this cause we help keep the kids warm and comfortable.
Monetary donations will help our travelers be safe and comfortable on their journey. It is a two day trip, due to having children and elder travelers.
This will also be an opportunity to take them to the Black Hills Pow Wow, and a tour around the Black Hills. This will be a great learning opportunity for the children to learn compassion for others, and history of the people of the Lakota Country.
This journey has so many benefits for everyone involved.
